Last night on American Idol was Senior Citizen’s Night vol. 2. They must be trying to cater to the older crowd and figured the younger crowd would just have to suck it up for two of the two zillion nights American Idol is on. Tony Bennett was the guest host this week, which usually means a Wednesday night performance but apparently he was to sick to make it. In his place was Michael Buble. He was actually fairly entertaining. Either he is getting over a bad cold or he had a little pick me upper before his performance (you feel me).For this results show, they split everyone into 3 groups. It was actually kind of cool so you could see who was in the top 3, middle 3, and bottom 3. In the top 3 was Jordin, Melinda, and Lakisha. All ridiculously good on the singing front, but low on the if you won I would buy a ticket to your concert front. In the middle 3 were the top entertainers, Sanjaya, Blake, and Chris (JT). And in the bottom was Haley, Gina, and Phil. Phil squeaked by and it came down to Haley and Gina. Thank goodness Haley broke out the big guns last night because it helped her edge out Gina. J.Lo week is up next. Should be a good one…
